Friends and Authors

Yesterday, I received two signed books in the mail. Both books were written, and or illustrated, by friends of mine.

Bo Confidential, illustrated by Tom Richmond.  Tom is a hugely talented artist who does  a ton of work for MAD magazine and is a member of the International Society of Caricature Artists.

Success in Action by Dan Thurmon. Dan is a motivational speaker who stays busy with engagements around the country.  I see Dan about once a year at the Georgia Renaissance Festival. A great guy!

Twenty odd years ago I wrote a book about my favorite television show, MASH. It was a trivia book. Several publishers looked at it but it was never published. With all the technology and publishing on-demand available today I wonder if I should drag out my manuscript and try it again?

I always wanted to be an author.
